I am getting 114 code for act sensor. I have done search and all i get is change plastic sensor in the air box but this is wrong as this is ambient temp. sensor, the act sensor is not plastic but brass at autozone.
Who knows location of this sensor on car.....92 mtx.

The ambient temp sensor is located in front of the A/C condenser. if you look between the radiator support panel and the condenser straight down, you will see it.

The ACT is indeed in the air box. And yes, I accidentally got an ambient air sensor the first time I tried to get an ACT as well. Replacement sensors may be brass.

There is no "ACT" sensor on a SHO.

The sensor on the airbox is correctly called the IAT (Intake Air Temp) sensor.

If you pulled a 114 code and the ambient temperature is below 50F, ignore it since your temp is below the range of the test routine.

If you are looking for the coolant temp sensor, it is properly called the ECT (Engine Coolant Temp) sensor.

See the PCED for proper KOEO anf KOER prerequisites.
