Hey guys,
Went to take off the tires on my 94 to do an inspection and what not and noticed these security lugs (pic). Anyone know where I can get the key? A couple of the tire places around me said they came stock on the car, but the Ford dealership is giving me a hard time to say the least.
Thanks,
Sam

They did come with the car. I'm not sure where to get one. Alot of our cars had those zipped off and replaced with non lock lugs. I think with the right size socket and air impact gun it should come off. Contact SV&HOdan on this forum. He parts SHO's and might have an old security key socket laying around

Once again luigisho coming in with the save. I’ll see if I can get ahold of him. This car is in mechanically rough shape, I’ll just start PMing you lol

did you try looking in the glove box, ash tray, or spare wheel well for the key. I have had several keys that always ended up not being the one. I ended up cutting them off one car I had. Cut notches in it at 12 o clock and 6 o clock, and then get a chisel and **** on it alternately

Will try that if I can’t get my hands on the key, thank you!

You could also find a hardened socket that is tight fit or needs to be pounded on and then air tool it out of there. Tire shop should have experience with this. I'd call before just in case to save a wasted trip

When I called around they all said the chisel method would be what they’d do. Hopefully Dan will pull through with the key so I can move on to the timing belt and all the goodies I need to get to down there

Find a different Ford dealer to call. I work at a Ford Dealership and we deal with this type of stuff all the time. People drop their car off for tires or alignment and don't have the key. My dealership has several master sets for factory locking lugs. By "factory", I mean Ford. There are dozens of different options. Take it to a good Ford dealer and they will be able to get it off and replace with a stock one. If you want, they should be able to give you the key code from the one that works and you can order a replacement from www.mcgard.com
That is where I would order one from if you were at my dealership.

Unfortunately the car is un drivable at the moment, and will be until I can get the tire off to access the water pump, timing belt, and all the stuff on the drive belt that has deteriorated from sitting
