I have a 94 ATX SHO that has been well cared for in its lifetime. It has 162k miles on it and ran a 15.4 in august. This is my 3rd sho the first two beening mtx's. And feels just as fast as those. The first problem is that whne the secondaries kick in they pull hard and can still beat my buddies bone stock 95atx but they don't act like they used to. It just seems like the can isnt up to *****. MAybe I just need more power but i dont know.

ALso off the first subject, my transmission. I have an FPS rebuilt tranny with 39k miles on it. When I got the car about 8 months ago it would chirp 2nd every time. Not any more. Tranny mount? I dont know The fluid was replaced recently with redline and there is a tranny cooler. I dont know what it is.

well since the secondaries are vacuum controled, and there is no filter through the PCV system, it could have crud in it, preventing it from working on time and properly...thats probably not the actual problem, but could be a small part. get an engine vac (running cleaner through the vacuum lines) service performed, it will clean the whole upper end of the motor. make sure all the other 60K related services are still in due time. a stretched timing belt can retard performance a lil, and just the plugs and wires.
