IMO: leave it alone the factory setting at 3950 is almost perfect anyways
however is you must change it the best way is to get a aftermarket LPM
which can be programed to have the runners open at a RPM of your discression

Then run the wire along the harness as much as posible all the way to the secondaries controller.
Same thing on the controller end - splice into the wire harness, near the connector.
