Best bet is going to give one a call.. And when you say covers, do you mean those nasty things they sell at wal mart or the parts store?

I think only a handful have had their seats reupholstered. As said above, your best bet will be to talk to the an upholstery shop yourself, as cost will vary by location. Go by an upholstery shop, have them look at your seats, and give you a quote. Pull out your phone book or google :thumb:

gonna be 3-400 a seat to recover them.

you're better off just scanning junk yards and the classifieds here on the forum.

grey seats are the easiest to find IMO.

i have black full leather. it's taken me a year to find decent seats

I imagine that the sky is the limit on this.
But... Shorangerbird had front and rear recovered for $600.00 and Fomocotosho had the 4 bolsters done for $100.00.
See Suspension, Brakes & Body section and search - Recovering the Front Seats and also Bolster Recovering.

It depends on local labor rates and what materials you use. You'll have to shop around or get some Katzkin leather kits at ~ $750 and still do your own labor. Or buy and install some good racing seats.

A SHO with a new leather interior is a beautiful thing.
If we had $20,000.00 invested in our cars, we would do this improvement without a thought.
Since we don't, its a big dilemma.

You can find excellent condition seats (from a parts SHO), along with other interior parts, for WAAAAY less than $900. I just parted out a black interior 93, entire entirior will be going up in my ad soon. They are in good shape. What color interior you have?

I think this should be common sense right here... make it drivable and road safe first and foremost.
