what did you enter into the search field? If you use just egr it might not search. Needs to be a certain length of characters

Did you get an EGR code number, you can try putting that in the search. I just tried: EGR code
a bunch of thread came up
Thank you this is really important to me as I've waited 10 years to get my sho back on the road. Ever sence my old lady was killed by a drunk driver on Jan 23 2020 I've lost everything I had except my SHO. We had just made a decision to go around the country and complete our bucket list and she was killed three days later she was killed along with one of my service dogs. And I've put everything I have in to my car so that I can go and do our bucket list. And last week I got my car back from amcco and they messed my car up bad and charged me $4200.00 + to do it. I haveñ't. Contacted them yet because I'm waiting cool down so I don't lose my temper

I tried it and got a lot of stuff but nothing that was helpful I entered ( trouble code 332 ) and got the message that told me 332 was not included in my search this just it's frustrating I finding it hard to understand why they would do this in the first place when folks come here for help. I've spent more time trying to figure this out then I have fixing my car because I can't find the info.

Thank you so very much I appreciate your help and the information I got from your leads sound like just the right thing and I am going to go do it as soon as I can. I'm getting excited now just having a direction to move to as I was suck and had no other thing I could think of. So thank you

O befor I forget I've only got the one 1992 SHO and I love that car. In the past six I have put about $6000.00+ into getting it back on the road after having to let it set for ten years because I had people that had to come first. Now I have no one else I need to take care of.
And no that's not a good thing it's just what left!!!
Thank you again and I'll be paying it forward or if there anything i can do to help you out don't hesitate to let me know.
Have a grate day

Looking through your posts, it seems that you have more than one SHO. Which one are you talking about?

Some useful links: http://wiki.wikisho.com/wiki/Main_Page

Where you will find: http://wiki.wikisho.com/wiki/Check_Engine_light_with_EGR_Valve_Error_Code

Also for future reference....not all the articles here have been transferred to WikiSHO:

Thank you so much that did the trick the check engine light has not come back on and now I can get my smog test and be on the road again. You helped me out big time and the links you sent me have a lot of info that I can learn and see if I can help others pay it forward in the future. But in the mean time let me know if there's anything I can do to help you out.

When you clear the Check Engine Light (often abbreviated as CEL) the car isn't instantly ready for smog test. The system requires some operating time to happen so that it can see if the condition comes back. I don't know exactly how long; someone once told me 100 miles, but with newer cars it sometimes also requires a certain number of starts, or getting to temperature. Since it's always best to go to a smog test with the car FULLY warm, so that the catalysts are working at their best, give yourself a treat by going for a couple of hours drive, and try to arrive at the smog appointment right after a freeway blast.
