Recently needed to get my car smogged for registration, and it has been rejected twice. The car is tuned, catless DPs with defoulers, no CEL. Both times it rejected was because the monitors were not ready. I have used this setup in other vehicles before with no issues. I also used be able to check my monitors with a Cobb V3, is there any way I can check these on an SCT? I only need 1 monitor set where I live, but they're all off. Could my o2 sensors be bad? I did run them on the DPs without defoulers for a month or two, how do I know if the sensor is bad?

Any help is appreciated, sorry if these have been answered before.

Have you asked your tuner?

Are the sensors "Not Ready" or "Inactive?"
I'll send em an email for sure, figured I probably messed something up haha last I remember seeing was "Not Ready" however I wasn't really paying attention the 2nd time because I was hoping it would pass if I didn't look. No such luck. I am trying again tomorrow on a different tune and will watch carefully if it rejects again.

To pass emissions testing in Virginia, I have to restore the car to stock tune, drive about 100 miles, get it tested, then put it back to my SCT tune.

I'm still diagnosing this issue. Have tried several tunes, including stock tune. Done a bunch of drive cycles, and the monitors will not set. So I have some dumb questions.... do I need defoulers on all 4 o2 sensors? Tuners haven't been much help thus far so I'm wondering if I'm missing something pretty obvious.

Defoulers would only be for the rear, but the style you're using could definitely be the source for the no ready error.

Roger. The ones I have now are a squared off 45 degree turn, maybe getting the rounded 45degree turn would be better

Now that I'm thinking about it... On the stock tune I get a code for the oxygen sensors reading too slow... Could the defoulers be too restrictive?
