I was out yesterday and stopped for like 10 minutes somewhere and when I got back into my SHO to leave, I turned the key, and all the electronics freaked out for a second and then everythign went dead. Probably 5 minutes later, everything started up and I drove off like nothing ever happened. Is this the CID?

all the lights on the warning light row flickered, climate control flickered and sputtered to come on, engine bucked 4 or 5 times then shut off, stereo shut off...

Thirded! My car did the EXACT same thing - negative battery cable came loose and was just sitting on top of the post. when i gave it gas, the momentum of the car would make the cable lose contact with the post and it would "freak out".

I would check all the connections and take the battery and alternator in to have them tested, and replace the offending parties..

I just bought an optima red top and I'm going to go install it. Hopefully that will clear up the problem.
