I have replaced the radiator, thermostat, fan relay box, and hoses as well as flushing the cooling system but for some reason the temp ont the gauge fluctuates from o to a on normal and the fan doesnt always turn on at the same temp do you guys think I need to replace the Coolant temp sensor or water temp sensor When I turn on the ac which turn on the fan it runs on then a of normal consistent. My cooling system is just acting funky please help it is getting hot out here in cali eek!

yo man. your temperature sending unit might be bad. i think it is about 10 bucks at any parts store. It has one wire attached to it. It is real easy to replace. What thermostat did you get? If you have the MTX, did you get the 180 degree? if you have the ATX, did you get the 192 degree? Also, did you get the one with the jiggle vavles? that is the one you should get. The jiggle valves should also be at the top when installing it. Do all of these things and try that. Another thing to do is fill up the radiator and wait for the thermostat to open. Then put more radiator fluid back in. you have to get out all the air bubbles or the temperature might fluctuate.

Hey man... my car does the same thing. I've flushed the system, swapped the box on top of the radiator under that plastic thing, put in an oem ford tstat and sending unit for the mtx and it gets to about the top of O in normal before the fan turns on. I think the problem I'm seeing is similar to yours. I've been told from some the fan doesn't come on until the o in normal but my first sho never went above the top of M and others say the fan should turn on at about this point. Did you ever have any luck with this?
