Running like SH*T.

I just put on the Heads i got form SHO AMO. Everything went great on the install no issues. Get time to start it up and it runs like trash. Backfires dies WILL NOT REV under load at all. Things is running like total shit.

So we start to work on it it trying to figure out whats wrong,

Check wiring order a million times and its correct according the SHOforum diagram correct.

Check spark with a timing light and thats all good.

Check for fuel pressure which is good.

Check for injectors firing, good.

Swap MAFs around no change.

Change Cam sensor, no change.

Ran a Cylinder balance test, 4 5 and 6 all failed.

Timing has been checked a million times, good. Have pictures if interested.

Timing on cams were checked and was good.

All grounds are tight and clean.

All vacuum lines are good.

Pulled the front 3 plugs and they all look black.

Thing back fires under load or when you punch the throttle.

So what gives?? About the only thing left is Dead computer or DIS? Any other ideas, were stumped big time.

Since it's 4,5,and 6 that have cylinder balance issues, check the plug wiring again. This is the bank that always gets messed up.

No power under load usually means ignition problems. How are your plug wires?

Black plugs usually mean weak/no spark.

For *****, have you checked compression on bank 2?

Glad you figured it out. Strange things can happen when you are tired and trying to get it going.

EDIT: Had a similar situation happen when I didn't have but 3 of the injector to head seals in, instead of 6. Something about that, the car doesn't like to idle that way.
