Ok, so I did try a search for this. Lol. Has anyone done a Roush axle back on their Sho? It seems like it would work. Maybe a slight mod to the piping going into mufflers. But other wise. Am I off on this thinking. Corsa also has axle backs. So ive been looking into these 2 to replace my Magnaflow for better sound. Thoughts?

I was actually looking to go Magnaflow as I've heard that's the best sound. You don't like it?

Actually, its ok but Corsa sounds better. Ive just been curious on the other kits out there that are just axle back. Not made for a sho but tgey are just mufflers with pipes designed for a certain car. Chop those pipes and use the mufflers. But is it that simple?

My local muffler shop put these on my SHO. Nice deep rich sound and with 2 4" stainless tips my cost was only $360.

No drone at cruise, 13blacksho? That's usually been the hardest thing to overcome.

Only between 2500 and 3000. My car never cruises above 2200 it seems. When accelerating you will get a bit of drone. But when it drops a gear it's silent. Very happy with it! And the cold start sounds MEAN.

Not a cold start... Just a sample.

Man! I have to say that's the best I've heard yet! Corsa (to me) seems to have a metallic raspy sound whereas your exhaust is a nice deep rumble! On another note, what license plate lights do you have? I have an LED set from Daytime Bright Lights and like them but still a little more blue than what I like - I want a true crisp white light. Hard to tell from your video what exact color yours are...

Thank you!
There is an exhaust shop in Des Moines that will cut off your mufflers and mock up everything they have and let you listen to each of them individually… Very hard to beat!
My lights are a very crisp bright white. I got the full interior lights with the trunk and license plate lights from EBay for $18!
I can't remember the seller...

Hey, I went to the Aero website and there's about 10 different muffler types just like the one you pictured but different internal size, etc... - which one did you end up installing? Thanks!!

UPDATE:

I called the exhaust shop, they said the Aero part # is AR 25.
Can you get any video clips of a drive by or a quick pull from in the car? From the sound clip you showed that exhaust is the best I've heard on these cars (of course, that's only my opinion) and it's the only one I can find on a new SHO. However, nearly every other sound clip of those mufflers on other cars I'm not a fan. Before I go buy myself a set I'm wondering if you could get me a couple more videos with the various RPM's? It would be much appreciated if you could.

Sure thing, I'll recruit someone to record it for me.
I've not been in another SHO with exhaust, but mine has that really deep tone from idle to 2800, and from there up to 3500 it makes a beautiful note... ( I want to say similar to the Jaguar XF 5.0) after 4,000 Rpm... Almost no sound inside the car. I haven't heard my car drive from the outside yet so I will hear it when you do!
