hey guys,
My 94 atx has a problem once in a while, when i get it hot and shut it off for a short period of time and try to restart it always fires and stubble's real bad and stalls.
After a few trys while it is stumbling a can mash the gas pedal and it will smooth out and run fine.
i can run it for a while and shut it back off and it will fire right up (no problem)
the only time it does this is when its hot.
no check engine light.
any clues as to what may be going on??????

Sounds like it could be your CID (camshaft position sensor). I would have problems with bucking and stumbling sometimes when my car was hot. It would often die and refuse to start, but if I waited 5-10 minutes it would start right up. Also had problems with an intermittent dead tach. Changed the CID and that cleared it right up. Only about $30 at Schucks.
