Trying to remove old cables and the one that comes (like)through the fire wall is being very stubbern how the heck do ya get that thing out of there?? :huh: also the braket that holds the cables on the trans do you keep that on or get rid of it??

When I did it to a friend's car, I cut the cables and had him pull while I "fed" it to him. The bracket comes off.

If the shift cables are good, DON'T CUT THEM! Someone here on the forum may need them. :thumb:
