Rod shifter bushing little metal plate

That metal plate that holds the bushing inside the black box on the bottom of the shifter has sanpped in half somehow???!!!! Would anyone happen to know where I could get one or do I have to get the whole rod???

Sounds like you may need a new rod shifter. Any pics?

i had that problem with the little rubber grommet. so i just drilled a whole through the ball at the end put in a little piece of pipe and 2 copper bushings and now my sho+ shifts like it did in 91
