Right there not a contact part unless they fail. So have at it. No break in required.

Someone told me that you want to go easy on it after you do the rod bearings. Hmmm, good to know, I am getting ready to do mine and I was wondering about that. Thanks Ryan for asking that question. :thumb:

I would go easy on it for about a half dozen heat cycles, just to let everything get used to being together, but that's just me....

Allready done that ive been driving and i haven't hit the secondaries yet so ive been easy. Probably been through 10-12 heat cycles. I no longer hear any noise when i first start the car in the morning. But of course i get it fixed and someone hits me and of course they didnt stop! They ripped my front bumper off. So now i have a hole in my bumper and they bent the **** out of the bracket on the side of the bumper. Oh well i have full coverage so im not worried.

Anyway heres the old rod bearings minus two that seem to have disappeared. But they all look the same. The ones with copper showing are from the top. They have 166k on them.
