So, this past weekend I did about a 500 mile road trip. I decided to take it easy when I got into the city and just roll with traffic. This pic is with the cruise control on, not coasting downhill, with a nice north tail wind.

I averaged 21.9 mpg with my heavy foot. I am not disappointed with the mpg. Much better than the 2011 v6 Explorer and much more fun to drive.

So, if I were to stay out of the go fast pedal, my millage would be much better but not nearly as fun of a drive.

I have read the top speed is governed at 133 for the 2015. Let's just say I was able to find a "private" road and the SHO got to 132-133 before I had to let off of the fun pedal. I wanted to get to 135 to see but just ran out of room at the exact time the speedo hit 132-133.

These cars are a blast to drive.

Every longer road trip I've taken I've averaged Atleast 26 mpg and doing mostly interstate 75 mph. Not bad for a high horsepower tank! City driving I get like 17.. Because boost ;)

Running Pittsburgh-Indianapolis round trip X3 times this year. With one occupant , full trunk of detailing supplies and tools and approximately 20-30 lbs. of luggage. Average of upper 20's 25-28 mpg with A/C ON and cruise set around 72-75 fairly steady. Westbound about first third of trip mountainous, hilly terrain.

Looks like you're gonna have to get 'er tuned. With a tune, you'll (a) hit 133 sooner, and (b) go past 133 sooner, since tuning removes the governor. (It's electronic.)
