ring gear rivits

I drilled the rivits on the ring gear, and chiseled the tops off. Now what? How do I get the second half of the rivits out? Just continue to drill all the way through? Should I use a punch? Any help appreciated.

Yes, you need a punch to drive the rivets back beyond the ring gear.
