Resonator replacement?

Im thinking of replacing the stock resonator with a borla. Im looking for a deeper tone without all the ricey sounds that these cars will make with a full on delete. Has anyone done this? From what ive found the resonator kinda determines the actual tone and the mufflers just keep it from sounding like a boosted racing mower. Is this accurate? I have stock exhaust and man it is too quiet! First vehicle ive ever had where the injectors are louder than the exhaust system lol. Yes i know... get downpipes. Eventually... right now im just looking for a little more rumble.

rear mufflers determines your loudness. People are satisfied with just a muffler delete, just swap them with something else. Resonator swap isn't going to change much of anything.

I just cut the mufflers off mine last night. No where near as loud as I thought it was going to be. The car is still plenty quiet. Just added a little growl.
