Resonator ideas?

Found out my SHO’s resonator is rotting and I have two options, to do away with it and delete it or to replace it. I was wondering if anyone has deleted theirs and how do they feel about/ did it pop any codes up on the dash and also if you bought one, is there a better one that I could buy rather than OEM or is OEM the way to go?

You can just straight pipe it for $100, it won’t pop codes but it will be louder.

Yep. Once you get past the last O2 sensor no more codes to pop up
