reprogramming keyless entry

does anyone know how to reprogramm the keyless entry remote to my 95 mtx...i found a posting on shotimes but they guy didnt know which wires to short...help...please

I know my wire to short is in the trunk on the driverside trunk hinge suport, behind the carpet panel. HTH

i found where it was but what colors are the two wires,,and the guy said i had to create a short..so basically would i just have to connect the two wires...

Beings my car isn't on the road yet and I don't have a remote to try. I'm just going by what I've read. I did look at the wiring diagram and there is 2 program wires in the plug... Program A is Wht/yel, Program B is grey/yel,. Have you downloaded the wiring diagrams here? They're great! I went over and re-read the directions. You just need to hook those 2 together and start hitting the button.

To re-program the remote:

1. Pull back the carpet in the trunk on the left side near the fuel safety cutoff switch.
2. Find the 2 pin connector clipped to the fenderwell right behind the wheel well. (Its inbetween the safety fuel cutoff switch and the wheel well.) It is not connected to anything...just a 2 wire connector.
3.Using a paper clip, piece of wire, etc., jump (short) these 2 wires.
4. Turn your ignition to the run position.
5. The doors will lock and unlock
6. Press any button on the remote of the one you want to program.
7. The doors will lock and unlock verifying that it took it.
8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 for all remotes you want to program for this particular car (up to 4 I believe). You will have to re-program any that you had before if you want them to work still.
9. Pull short from 2 wire connector in trunk.
10. Doors will lock and unlock once more ending the prgramming stage.
11. Turn ignition off.
12. Done.
