Ok this is an easy one... I bought the 2-wire ECT sensor believing mine needs replacing, but I can't find the damn thing!! I know it's to the right of the thermostat somewhere, but for the life of me I can't find it. Can someone snap a picture or perhaps offer a more specific description (than "to the right of the thermostat towards the firewall") of where it's at? I would very much appreciate it. Thanks!

Its down there a bit Its almost easier to feel it than it is to see it. Follow the tube down from the thermostat until you can feel the sensor pointing toward the firewall.

Cool I found it, thanks. That's gonna be a real biznitch to get out... Any tips?
I just unplugged it, used a 1" deep socket on a ratchet worked great. Very small strokes but it works.

I ended up using a crow's foot socket on my ECT, which worked well.

Don't forget to drain a little coolant out before you take out the ECT.
