I use my 2012 SHO for company business and have logged 21,000 miles in 7 months. The OEM Goodyear F1 accumulated 6 nails/screws in that time. So I am looking for a tire that is more resilient to punchers and longer wearing. I'm not ripping around corners so ultimate stickness isn't important.
I ordered the Michelin Primacy MXV4 only to find they are nationally back ordered. No stock anywhere near Virginia. My tire dealer talked me into the Nitto Motivos which were installed last night. On driving home, I found the ride very bouncy compared to the Goodyear F1. Is this simply a function of the harder rubber that allows for the 60,000 mile warranty on the tire? Or did I make a mistake not hanging out for the Primacy?
I have 30 days in which to keep or return these Nittos. I'll keep them if the Michelins would be no better but I hoping for some feed back. What has been your experience with the Michelin Primacy as a replacement for the F1.
