Repeat Transmission Problem

I love my '93 SHO but have gone through three transmissions in a year and a half. It's a long story but the mechanic says it's going to have to be rebuilt again. Should I get it rebuilt or should I try to convert to a standard shift?

Sounds like you need to change mechanics!

If you stick with the ATX, get a rebuild from Doug Lewis at FPS and get your mechanic to swap it. Reportedly $2200 exchange.

Then make sure the ATX doesn't get flogged.
