Getting ready to replace my Crank Pulley and want to take out the A/C compressor. (I know about the Mount it braces) I was wondering is there anything special to removing it? Someone has already deleted it.

You mean by-passed it. You must leave at least the A/C gutted comp. in place to support the frt MM! Or you need an AC delete brkt or you will break that cast iron engine acc brkt! & you ned somthing to support the alt too!

:stupid: But removing the A/C compressor usually involves removing the radiator, or dropping the subframe some.

NO, not at all! remove battery & tray, loosen idler pully nut, loosen belt tension, remove belt, remove alt, remove top 2 AC housing bolts & alt brkt, remove 4 10mm bolts that secure the 2 AC manifolds, remove 2 lower AC housing bolts, remove compressor, totally dis-assemble AC comp.-gut it! Then re-install just the 2 center pieces of the AC comp housing & put it all back together.
