Now that I have put in an after market stereo I want to do something with the remote stereo controls. They would be great for controling some other lights or something else. Has anyone done anything to them or know how they work like if they are connected to a selinoid or anything. Other wise i was thinking of removing them and putting a switch or 2 there.

Solenoid? Seems unlikely. I think they just control the radio, so they're probably pretty low-current switches.

That would be a great place for putting different switches - go ahead and remove 'em.

They are just momentary switches. I was thinking of moving my valet switch for my alarm to the "seek" button.
