Remote oil filter

I see Summit has a relocation kit for the filter; either one or 2 filter setup. Less than 50 bucks. Has anyone tried something like this? One obvious problem would be where to put the thing. Anywhere would have to be better than the stock location.

I've been thinking about a bypass filter for my '97. On the Gen 2 there is room in front of the fender wells for at least one filter.

You could use one of these MagneFine PreFilter to move the filter away from the block and use the shorter/fatter filter that would fit. If getting away from the starter is the object. These PreFilters need changed every year with normal use.
