Remote keyless entry system?

I have a '93 SHO with the factory "keyless entry" and I got to looking around the trunk, under seats, etc.. On the left side of the rear seat back is a black box with a single male connector (sliver) going into the right side, and there is a coaxile cable connector for something that is bunched up in that area. I pulled a sticker off the box that says

FORD
93-02-17
Remote/Keyless
F3VF-15K602-AB
**keyless code**

There is also a connector under the driver's seat which appears to have no real place to plug into. Does my car have a remote keyless entry system. I just bought the car and have no remote but I can obtain them easily, I would like to get the system working if possible!

check right above your door handle on the drivers side ......there should be a keypad on the outside of the door.....for your code, pop the trunk and look on the lid for a 5 digit code....

your car has remote capability. all you need to to is buy the correct remote(s) and program them per the SHOtimes.com instructions.

Thanks for the information. I went and got (2) key remotes, programmed them. My car now has remote keyless entry.

Anyone know what the coaxile cable could be for? It comes from the corner of the rear seat!

The coax cable is the antenna lead for the remote entry module.

Larry, this wire has the actual coax end that screws in to a television. Do you know where it goes? I started tracing it, and it was heading towrds the front of the car but the end in the back is unscrewed from its place.
