So I finally figured out the problems I've been having... I removed the intercooler and fixed ta few things here and there and now I'm hitting full boost in every gear. First, second, and third gears are almost useless if the tires are cold. Even if the tires are warm first is still useless and second is not much better. I'm still fully untuned, and it's hiccupping really bad at the top of the gears. A friend was driving behind me in his Jeep and said I was pouring black smoke from running so rich.

So here are the details:
10-13 P.S.I. in all gears and lag is almost eliminated. In first, boost starts to build at about 3,000 rpms and hits 10 shortly after. In second, boost will FULLY build within 500 rpms of flooring it. Third and fourth just get better and better.

I've been getting a few *** here and there asking questions about my setup and I have not been able to respond. I'm sorry for this, but I will soon have it tuned and dyno'd and the whole turbo kit will be put out here for the forum to see. I've got drag radials and new rims on the way as well as a 13" brake upgrade sitting in my back seat. The only things I want to do to the car now are a wideband setup, re-do my intake piping(air filter setup), and finish the exhaust work(turbo downpipe and add a flex pipe).

To whom it may concern:
Whoever said a remote mount turbo was a joke, come to Denver and drive my car and say that afterwards.:thumb:

Remote mout turbo is a joke. Can I come drive your car now?

90th and Wadsworth.
I'm just off 80th and Sheridan. When mine is put back together (1-2 weeks) I'd like to see how much faster yours is, just so I have an excuse to put more money in it. Nice to see fellow SHO tuners in the area. Started to think I was alone out here.

Terry's(TWR) car is not running right now. There are still 3(?) RUNNING boosted sho's on the road in the Denver area right now. There is at least 5 total and at least 2 are broken. I have a remote turbo 91, Yamahasho has a supercharged 95(not running), TWR's is supercharged(not running), and Panamapat has 2 supercharged sho's. There might be more out here that we don't know about though. Mine runs and if you ever want to come see it, just let me know and we will set up a time.

as soon as I get a chance, I'll put the car up on the lift and take some shots of the underside to show the routing of all of my piping and such. The only thing I'm waiting for to install the 13" brakes is banjo bolts. As soon as I get them, it'll go on the lift and I'll take some shots of the undercarriage.

Also, keep in mind that some of the stuff on this car still needs to be taken into the exhaust shop(for a flex pipe, a few mandrel bends and such.) som the pipe that is in place of the intercooler is not permanent

oh yea something I forgot to add in the thread above, and that I meant to say in this one is that I have hung the turbo up higher. I was at work and saw a chain link fence that happened to have some chain link fence straps on one of the poles. So I drilled a hole in the body and bolted a pice of metal to the body, and then the strap around the exhaust piping. The turbo itself sits a lot higher now. The piping will still scrape if I go to fast over bumps but if I'm careful, it doesn't touch.

something like this:
