I cut the beat up leather off a spare 94 mtx shift ****. The plastic **** underneath also has the 1 through R gears engraved on top of the ****. I was wondering if it would be worth getting the **** professionally leathered. Do you guys have any links to companies or should I look locally?

would it be cheaper to pick up the "mustang" knobs off of ebay? shrug they're the same size/design, and there's usually a lot of them on there all the time

I think a new Ford **** is only around $30 or so. All of those Mustangs knobs on ebay are dark gray, and require you to cut off around 1/2" off the shifter for them to seat all the way.

I'm very happy with the way a stock SHO **** fits and was wondering if anyone knew of any companies that releathered them.

Kev, I really appreciate it, but I'm not looking for a new shift ****. I seriously just want to know if there are companies that releather them...

I haven't tried it myself, but I have heard of people bringing the shift **** to a shoe repair shop and having them replace the leater.
