I had a shop do mine last year, took em off to clean it out and put em back on, hasn't leaked yet at all, cost 35 bucks. Never tried doing it myself though.

I'm gonna try to re-crimp mine tomorrow myself. It's been ******* me off for like 3 weeks now. Only leaks when its cold. I fix a leak on the upper hose, and then the damn driver side end tank starts leaking.

When my 89 end tank started leaking I tried to have it recrimped...

I called 3 diffent shops and they all said it wouldn't last and that they wouldn't do it.

So I ended up buying a $130 modine with lifetime warranty :D
