rear deck 3rd brake light removal

is there another way to remove the 3rd brake light on the rear deck if i cant get the 2 screws that hold the cover to it on off? will it come out if i remove the whole rear deck cover??

It should since that's what it's screwed to. Just remember to unhook the electrical wires

*edit* I just looked in my trunk and I don't think it will come out without removing those screws

man those screws are TIGHT and now stripped,loL! yeah i dont want to pull the deck cover off and it not come with it, is it screwed with actual screws or those plastic rivet things to the deck cover or lid?? wandering if i pulled hard enough if it would just come apart from the deck lid

i got it, i popped it out from the trunk thanks for the help
