rear clunk

i know i have heard someone talking about the clunk in the rear of the car. it happens mostly when turning into a driveway/parking lot when it hits a bump in a turn.

what is that all about?

I think the clunk you are talking about has to do with the sway bar bushings. How are your strut/strut towers?

There are sway bar bushings at the links (the four round "grommets") and the frame attachments. You will need to check both mounts for wear or play. If this is not the source of the noise, you will have to remove/inspect the struts and upper strut mounts. Are you sure that it is not something in the trunk?
