when the brake pedal is depressed, should the lights located on the TRUNK part illumine?

The red portion on the trunk lid, under the backup lights, is just a reflector... to the best of my recollection. The only brake lights you have are on the outer housings and the CHMSL.

The only thing on the trunk lid that lights up is the reverse lights. The red portion in the center is just reflectors.....

It seems my blinker lights are :blinking" a lot faster than normal. I was wondering if I had some bulbs out.
Guess I need some Lucas blinker stabaliser.
