Do you know where it's coming from? Worst case scenario, there are some mechanics that have a microphone setup that they install in several spots under the car to listen to while driving to pinpoint. Is there anything fresh from the axle connection to the tranny? Maybe someone had one out and didn't get it set correctly. Maybe it's starting to fail. Maybe half shaft or something starting to go? Wheel bearings?
Feels and sounds like it’s coming from the rear but only happens when turning (on and off the gas pedal) which leads me to the front (should I pull the rear driveshaft and see what happens with only the front under power?). I have an appointment end of next week at a shop if I can’t figure it out by then (2 Ford dealers still haven’t called me back.....twice now). I mean.....at this point do I just say fk it, take the loss and move on or just go in and replace everything lol

Maybe it helps maybe it doesn’t but the rear tires are severely cupped on the inside. I figured this was from the bad rear toe links. However now I’m thinking what if they just rotated them from the front.....

Switching is possible. The geometry on these things had never been perfect and that's the side that wears usually. I don't think it's time to call anything until the problem is found. Then you make the call. If stuff is new and been paid for so far. It's time but not extra big $$$ yet. Just a real hassle. A GOOD mechanic should be able to get to narrow this down quickly.

If you have grease coming from those cv boots, cv joints could fit your symptoms as well.. grinding in turns and some humming..
Best that I can describe it is It’s similar to a drift car with a welded diff except instead of intermittent chirp/skip it’s a intermittent stopping sensation that sends an intermittent roar and vibration throughout the whole car.

Hmm.. did a mechanic install the PTU? If so, no mention of potential culprits by them? The rack and pinion is electronically controlled... any of these symptoms when turning wheel in park from left stop to right stop? I can't help but to still lean toward hub or related like cv axle

I got the PTU from Ford and replaced it myself. I just went out and checked, all smooth at full lock both left and right while sitting in park. I’m going to pull the driver cv that has been spewing grease and take a closer look, also got some buddy’s coming over to help try get all 4 wheels off the ground to see if I can narrow down where exactly it’s coming from.

Ok got another update. Finally got it to Ford, they just called and said it’s the rear differential. I have a aftermarket warranty that came with the car so I’ll be trying to use that. I will update again once I get the car back from Ford. Huge thanks to everyone for all the help so far!!!

Well guys, the saga continues. Called Ford yesterday as they’ve had the car for over a week now with no update. I kid you not this is what I was told….”The part is on back order because Ford doesn’t make it anymore” When asked how long dude says “ I don’t know, they don’t make it anymore” so I guess they were just going to keep the car forever till the non existent new part arrives???? Upon further research I find that there is a class action against Ford over this particular part no longer being manufactured. That being said I’ll be picking the car up today and just getting a used unit off eBay and stick that in it. I will then 100% be trading these fkn pos’s as I have a 17 F150 too that I recently found out has 23fkn recalls and it still shakes violently when braking at high speeds (2 years, thousands in parts/labor and a total of 5 different dealerships that still have not been able to fix it properly). It’s a sad day tbh, I’ve been a Ford guy my whole life. But at this point I’m just over it.
