My clutch is almost toast and i just ordered a clutch kit, flywheel and a few other things from SHOsource but I was just wondering if I could re-use my SHOnut ceramic TOB or would I be better off just using the new TOB that come with my clutch kit? The SHOnut TOB has about 20,000 miles on it , roughly, I can hear it chewing throw the PP fingers but when i take it out and if it looks like it is still in decent shape can I just **** it with some synthetic **** and slap it back in there? Thanks

My ceramic TOB has been inflicted with 400+whp and is still doing fine. 20 K miles is nothing for an NA car. Re use that ******...

Besides, the nut says there has not been one known failure on the ceramic TOB last time I checked.

Huh, i didn't know that and that is really good to hear. So I shouldn't even bother with the TOB that comes with my new clutch kit and I can just keep it just in case. But I will have to wait and see what kind of condition it is in once I take it out then i will decide but so far you got sold on re-using it, sort of. Thanks

Yeah, unless the PP fingers damaged it I wouldn't hesitate to re-use it. They are probably the best built clutch component and should outlive the car pretty easily.
