On Nov. 17th, I paid RCM for some head gaskets, seals, bearings and a timing belt tensioner. I also emailed and inquired about a used 3.0 crank pulley. I was sent a PayPal bill for the pulley and it said it would be included in original shipment of parts. After waiting a week, I emailed to obtain a tracking number so I could get an idea of when to receive my parts -no reply. Finally, on Nov. 28th, I got the package which did not contain the belt tensioner or the 3.0 pulley. I emailed right away wondering if there was a problem or separate packages -no response.

At this point, I'm a bit irritated after dropping over $420(including almost $50 in shipping!), waiting 10 business days and receiving only part of what I paid for. Furthermore, I can't seem to get a response to any of my emails as to what might be going on.

I know shit happens from time to time but at least reply to my email!

Anyway, I usually have a good experience with RCM but I'm getting frustrated at this point. Any thoughts?

Yeah, I personally have gotten all of my stuff that I have ordered from RCM within a week:thumb: but from what I have read here, he rarely replies to emails and if everything isn’t shipped with the first package it is probably out of stock and will be shipped out ASAP. But I will agree with you, even though I have never had any problems, that some better communication would be greatly appreciated by a lot of members here. But don’t worry you will eventually get your parts…..

I got a vauge response today stating there was a seperate package that has been or will be shipped. I'm glad to hear that I'll get my stuff but I was seriously starting to wonder... I't would have been no big deal if I had been informed.

I think some of that stuff gets drop shipped or is on back order at times and that delays getting it to your door.

Communication is key and it seems alot of sellers on the internet need to find that out. Yea I like to have my stuff within 7-10 business days who doesn't but no big deal if it takes longer as long as im informed. It bugs the **** out of me when people you just spent money with can't even give you the respect of replying to you. Unfortunately its like this alot of places not just RCM. I understand people are busy with other this but if your not going to check your email or bother responding for a week or so maybe you shouldn't be selling things online. It sucks getting left twisting in the wind.

Sorry for the rant but I feel your pain man...this happens online wayyyyyyy to much and it irks the crap out of me.

I've spent thousands there and the only problem I ever had was with getting a flywheel from them. It put my whole turbo project on hold until Brian was nice enough to lend me one he had sitting around...
