Rather "different" climate control issue

This isn't about it not BLOWING as much as it is about it not getting hot or cold, and even if it does either of those- it stops after about 5-10 minutes of driving and turns into a luke-warm air. (Weither I had it warm or cold it goes to the same temp)

The guy who sold it to me said it had something to do with the computer, and it was a cheap fix... now me not being a car mechanic I have no effin' clue lol. (Taking auto classes next year, untill then I'm relying on everyone else's SHO genius lol)

Either way- someone help me PLEASE, I live in AZ, and when summer comes along I could fill a swimming pool with all the sweat that absorbs into my seats. On top of that- weve been colder then usual in the winter (especially mornings) so I wake up with frost on my windshields and can't do anything about it cus Mr. Defroster is taking a vacation.

For starters do this...Drive the car around until it reaches normal operating temp. Press 'OFF' and 'FLOOR' at the same time, let go, then press 'AUTO'. The EATC will run a self-diagnostic and will display a code. '888' means all good. Press the 'COOL' button after the codes have been displayed.

I agree run the test and see what happens.

When was the last time you had the cooling system flushed? I have done quite a bit of work on my SHO's and the system really needs flushed every 25K. If you kept the coolant fresh, the radiator and heater core will last much longer. Often old coolant will allow deposits to clog up the heater core and make it not heat up in the car.

I also recomend installing a real temp gauge to see what kind of temps you are getting.

Could be lots of things, start with the simple ones.
