my foglamps every once in a while on the 89 will not work, but 99% of the time they work fine. Any ideas? I doubt it's a fuse, the mystery fuse I read about. So maybe a relay? Where is the foglamp relay on this?

I don't know where the grounds are, I don't have any kind of service books, or wiring diagrams. They have been working perfectly lately. Only seem to act up if i turn the foglight switch on or off, but if I just leave the switch on, they seem to always work.

89's don't have a relay, the switch is most likely the culprit. These switches, being one year only (89's were the first SHO's, later years got a different dash) are hard to find as well.

Yes. Check the switch because mine does the same thing and all I do is tap on the switch and it comes back on. So all thats telling me is to change the switch...and I have an '89 by the way.

On my old Gen 1.. the thing that was always the problem for me was the little screw that holds the bulb in. If I kicked the bumper or wiggled the wire it would pop on.

If its both lights at the same time, I would think more so the switch or the ground in the harness there.. if its only one look in the fixture.
