Ran into a snag

I got my upper off and apart.

Can I reused the gaskets that go to the secondaries?

Also dealer says TB gasket is no longer...can I reuse it or use some high temp RTV?

I plan to cut my Maf screen out anyone else done this? Use to be something we did a couple of years ago.

Anyways to the problem....

My vavle cover bolts, the set actually on the valve cover, a couple of them are aparently rounded out. Whats the best way to get these out and how much should a new set from the dealer cost me?

I ordered the secondary gaskets from RCM but could not find the vavle cover bolts and I also need the bolts that hold the valve covers down that are on the drives side (rear of motor) that have the same head (torx) but are not shiny like the others.

I will take my upper intake gaskets back to ford (55 bucks worth) and get a refund on Monday hopefully. I ordered two sets but if places like RCM have stock I will just order them when I need them (planning to get a second SHO Gen 1 so )

YOu can cut a TB gasket using the replacement paper they sell at autozone for like 6 bucks. You could also go to rock auto and get the upper gasket set listed with them for like 45 bucks. It has every gasket you would need from the top of the head on up.

for the bolts, i know its a metric size (i forget what size but i bought one)hex/allen socket (male end), they are easy to strip, so get the right size... you may be able to hammer the next size larger, or try getting a torx in there to fit and stay while you try to turn it out. if those dont work, then you might be able to buy a 'grabit' or something to take out striped bolts/screws, or last resort, take a grinder or dremel and cut a good slot it the head.

They are allen? Mine have been beat on then because they look like torx.
