A buddy ran the codes on my car with the KOEO test, and it showed a 542 - Fuel Pump Secondary Circuit Fault.

The check engine light has only come on once since I've owned the car, and it happened about 3 months ago. As soon as a turned the car off, and restarted, it never illuminated again.

Can anybody shed some light? BTW, the car is running great, on open road, even the way I drive I've gotten 26 MPG, it will turn 14's at the 1/4 mile, and runs smooth all the time.

If your car has stalled your computer will store that code. No worries! thumbs_u

Martin,

Yes, the 542 is the "stall" code. To clear the memory codes, rerun the EEC test and pull the jumper while the codes are being output.

Thank you Mike and Scott. I thought that might be what the code was, but was informed otherwise. So I brought it here, and my suspitions were confirmed.
