My 92 factory JBL radio keeps searching for stations so I swapped it out with a '99 Contour unit.
It plugs in, has a bypass plug in back to eliminate the factory cd player.
It plays fine when the ignition is on in the accessory position. When I start the car the unit is still on but there is no sound.
Is there a relay in this system that needs to be reset?
How can it play in the accessory on position but not in the run position of the ignition switch?
