Radio problems

I've got this problem and its just started today. When I turn the car on and the radio comes on, it plays for 30 seconds and then shuts off. The radio lights and station stays on but the sounds shuts off. Any ideas? Also my clock flickers as well. Thanks.

try moving the igntion switch a little

Thanks for your input. I tried that but still it kicks off after about 30 sec. Turn the car off for a few seconds and back on, the radio works again but only for the 30 sec. Rats

sounds like the radio is dead

Sounds like maybe the stock amp is junk.

take the radio out and take a multi meter and see if you have any power out of the speaker outputs. Or start at the amp, either way but that should help you to track down where the problem actually is.
