Hey there! Working on my '94 MTX, I'm trying to keep her all stock. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of clamps the radiator hoses use from the factory. I know later Fords used the spring type clamps, but on my SHO, I've got worm screw clamps on the lower hose and somethin that looks like it's made from coat hanger wire on the upper (the hose is just a generic flex hose ATM). I can't seem to find any clear photos online. Any insight would be helpful.

They are called "wire style hose clamps" or "double wire style hose clamps" the amazon page at the link has some examples. You can try some Ford Mustang or Ford Reproduction parts sellers to see if they have them. You'll need to know the diameter of the hose to see if what they have will fit your hose.

Thanks a bunch! Mine wern't too bad so I gave 'em the old vinegar and spray paint and they look pretty darn good!
But uh...there are two different sizes, and I don't know which one goes where. I measured both ends of the new molded hose, as well as the radiator and thermostat outlet, and both ends look the same! My fault for not keeping track when I took them apart. But now I gotta know...which one goes where?

From what I remember, the thermostat outlet and both radiator openings are the same size but the water pump inlet is slightly larger.

Yes, but the clamps are two different sizes, at least the bolt is. I'm talking just the wire clamps, the ones that are only on the upper rad hose...which now I also need to find the orientation of

The clamps on the upper hose(both ends) and the lower hose at the radiator were all the same from the factory. The clamp on the lower hose at the water pump was different/larger. If your two clamps for the upper do not match then one of them is incorrect.
