Tried a search and read through a lot of threads but couldn't find a clear-cut answer although I'm sure my question has been asked before. I'm gearing up to change out my SHO's clutch and while watching Josh's video I saw that he uses a Loctite sleeve retaining product on the quill sleeve. I've looked around and can't find that stuff. Does it go by another name? He also mentions that others have opted to use epoxy. Alas, there is a lot of different types of epoxy.

So what's the general consensus? What product should I use on the quill sleeve, and where can I get it?

TIA

I have had no issues finding sleeve retainer under the loctite brand. Just find a place that carries loctite and ask if they can get you some in.

I used green locktite. Seemed to work and I've heard of other people using it.

Typical green loctite (penetrating thread lock) and green sleeve retainer (also a loctite product) are not the same thing.

NAPA usually has it around here.
