Fiddling around with my gauges yesterday I came across a vehicle option
- Quiet Start - On/Off
Does anyone know what this does? I found it on page 118 in the OM with no explanation. -_-

It's related to remote start & idle speed. Enabling QUIET START makes the engine idle at the lowest necessary RPM to stay running.

In addition, enabling QUIET START also disables the honk in case of remote start failure and slows the blower motor down if climate control is set to start with remote start. May vary by model line & model year though.

Interesting option.

Mine is a '14 and I went & checked real quick... Not there.

Interesting...

You checked the left LCD on the gauge cluster? I'm not at my car at the moment, but I can post some pics later for you. I think it was Settings>Vehicle>Remote Start>Quiet Start On/Off

Yes I checked the LCD to the left of the speedo. In the menu as you noted. Not there.

Not a big deal, can't see why I would use that option anyway - but interesting to see one of the apparent changes from 13 to 14.
