The official name from Ford is the CELO (Cold Engine Lock Out) switch. Mine is non functional, as the heater comes on immediately even on the coldest Colorado days. Of course it blows ice cold air for the first 3-4 miles... I have been unable to find a new one. Anyone know where I can get a new one? It's a coolant temp sensor that keeps the EATC from coming on until the temp is at a certain level. The pigtail is very similar to the one that goes to the steering rack. Make sure you didn't plug it in to the wrong sensor.

I'm pretty sure it only came as part of the pipe. Look online for a replacement pipe and it will come with the sensor. The official name from Ford is the CELO (Cold Engine Lock Out) switch. No. That one goes into the coolant housing attached to the rear cylinder head. It tells the PCM when to turn the fan on.this one?

ECU Temperature Sensor (89-95)
This is the temperature sensor used by the engine computer (the gauge in the dash uses a different sensor). This sensor is critical to proper engine performance. If the computer thinks the engine is cold, it will run overly rich with reduced power and fuel mileage. Usually, but not always, a...shosource.com
Nope. CELO switch not the ECU sender. They are located in different pipes but are within a few inches of each other.this one?

Thanks for the tip. I never looked for it as an assembly. What might the pipe/assembly be called?I'm pretty sure it only came as part of the pipe. Look online for a replacement pipe and it will come with the sensor.

I'll give you exact part numbers tomorrow when I'm at work. Thanks for the tip. I never looked for it as an assembly. What might the pipe/assembly be called?
I will second that you should email SHO Source. He has some used parts not listed on the web pages. He was able to hook me up with a replacement center timing belt cover from parts he had.The official name from Ford is the CELO (Cold Engine Lock Out) switch.
