Quick release aftermarket steering wheel options

This has been a joint endeavor between @802SHO and myself as we weren’t sure this would work and thought we would need to make a custom adapter, however after trying some off the shelf options we found that the mustang/focus steering wheel adapter is directly compatible with the SHO. I used the following momo part numbers and sparco quick release assembly. The turn signals still work, however I lost cruise control, the air bag, and the steering wheel buttons. As this is my weekend toy and now dedicated track car I’m not to worried about it as I have a racing harness and racing seat and pumped that aftermarket options are available that require no modifications to install. The steering wheel, adapter and quick release come in at approx $600. I’m hoping @802SHO will post his install pictures and weigh in on the project as his setup is very cool as well.

Yes I added the mustang/focus adapter, Sparco Quick Release and Sparco Ford Racing suede flat bottom steering wheel. I’m still pursuing paddle shifter options, that’s about the only thing I would like to keep. I never liked the stock steering wheel. I love the way the interior looks now!
