quick question

My 96 steering is perfect when driving the car, but when im in a parking lot or parked its like there is no power steering at all! ... Is it the PS pump or the Rack and pinion?

It's in the fuse box under the hood by the battery. Pull the cover and you will see it.

mine seems to do the same thing only one in a while. i never looked into it.

Well i couldnt find the fuse, I do have a OD switch.

20A fuse marked semi active suspension in the under the hood fuse box.

Swap it with the fuel pump fuse (right below it 20A) if the car runs the fuse is good.

why not just pull the fuse out and look to see if it's blown? also, have you checked your fluid level?

if you have a text light or something like that you could test the top pins on the fuse.i think its just easier to pull the fuse and look..
