quick question for all you aftermarket sub/amp installers.

I am nearly finished putting in an alpine 12" type r and alpine amp. I need to run a power wire from the battery. Is there an easy place to come threw the fire wall or will drilling/cutting be required? Thanks, could not find anything with searching.

On my 2011 SHO I couldn't find an pre-existing place to run a 4 gauge wire thru, so I drilled a hole within an inch and half of the brake booster bolts area. Seemed to be the only place I could be sure of where I was going thru the firewall with nothing in the way. Im sure there are others who might have other places they have gone thru, that was just the most convenient at the time. Good luck!

What year is your vehicle? SHO/Flex? Drilling through the false firewall seems to be your best option. Check this out: http://www.fordflex.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=9521&p=108828.
