Nice work. Any issues with the DSR1? I swapped mine out for the PAC ampro because of multiple issues.

Love the DSR-1. Only issue I ran into was since the Alpine being a four channel set up I had to run the factory amp as well which was no problem. Best thing about the DSR-1 was the amount of control I had over the amp. Most of the eq you can control only have like 5 levels. This one has about 300 levels of control and customization. It even allows you to get really technical by how far the speaker is away from the driver down to the inch. So if you do most the driving with no passengers it will adjust the acoustics so it's feels like your in a cockpit so to speak! And it retained all controls of radio and steering wheel which was my main concern!

Glad it's working for you. I had lots of noise issues and trouble with the navigation voice being so ridiculously loud it was unusable. I am using a separate DSP for the eq/crossovers/time alignment duties so didn't get into that. I am only running tweets/mids up front and subs so I removed the factory amp with the DSR1 but it had to go back in with the PAC even though I'm not using it. I hear you on not giving up the steering wheel controls.

What did you use for the DSP? Audio Control? And what speakers are you running your mods and highs with? Im always curious of different setups and how they perform since it's all Taurus based setups!

I've changed a few things since the original install. Currently I have the PAC ampro optical out to a Helix DSP to a cheap Sound Stream 4 channel for highs, I preordered a new am waiting for it to ship and a Zapco ST-1650XM II mono. Tweets are Seas Prestige(best budget tweeter out there IMHO) in customer sail panels, Audio Frog GB60 mids, two Image Dynamics IDQ12s. Once I get the new amp installed I'll start a new thread with some pics of the build. My installer actually just texted me this morning saying they should ship on the 23rd so should be in a couple weeks. It's set up for SQ and my installer did a tremendous job with the tune so it sounds amazing but for sure won't pound like bpd or your setups.
